I've been using jQuery's <a href="http://plugins.jquery.com/project/history" rel="nofollow">History plugin</a>, but it doesn't offer per-variable callbacks (and it seems to be unmaintained).<br /><br />I removed the jQuery.each dependency in a <a href="http://github.com/schmichael/hashtrack/tree/master" rel="nofollow">fork on GitHub</a>.
